Dixons and the Carphone Warehouse merged last week and their focus is reported to be the internet of things

Chipotle is going to put essays by famous authors, comedians and journalists on its coffee cups, creating ‘space for thoughtfulness in a busy day’

An excellent example of media brands collaborating is that of Vice News, Quartz, Mashable and others who this week started working together on the Ukraine News Twitter account

This bit of sponsored content has been much lauded this week: Wired & Netflix look at how TV viewing culture is changing; it’s not bingeing, it’s ‘feasting’

Another example of media brands working together: The Guardian, Telegraph and YouTube for the leaders’ debate during the UK elections in 2015
